I think you can appreciate the guy as a golfer for some of the INSANE moments he’s provided (Tiger Slam, 2005 masters, 2008 US open, 2019 masters, etc) and also recognize that he’s generally a pretty shit person and has a lot of work to do that he hasn’t done.

Ive taken strong pain killers after a major knee surgery and the amount of those things you need to take to get to the point where you shouldnt be driving is quite alot.
He definitely has a drug problem beyond just medicating for pain.

Seems like he’s suffering from the same addiction a heroin addict would suffer from, which is opioid addiction. Obviously it happens to a lot of Americans and i hope he gets help. Seems likely that it’s already robbed him of the majority of the back half of his career but it would be nice to get a few more highlights.
