WILMINGTON, N.C. – Senior Adam Vermut carded the best 36-hole score for North Florida Men’s Golf at the Seahawk Intercollegiate at Country Club of Landfall on Monday. 
 
Vermut carded eight birdies and a 1-under 143 to place tied for 14th on the individual leaderboard. He posted five birdies for a 3-under 69 in Round 1. In addition to Vermut, redshirt junior Filippo Serra turned in an impressive pair of rounds to sit tied for 27th at 2-over 146. Serra is tied for sixth with a 4.38 average and a 5-under score among the field on Par 5 holes. 
 
Redshirt sophomore Danny Erickson rounded out the Ospreys in the top-50 on the leaderboard entering the final day of play. North Florida sits in seventh out of 15 teams on the leaderboard.
