I Tried to Break Par at England’s Oldest Golf Course

This video is the oldest golf course in England… founded in 1864.

Royal North Devon Golf Club has remained almost completely untouched, with roaming sheep and horses still crossing the course like they have for generations.

So today, I headed there to try and do one thing: break par.

From the history of the place to the challenge of actually scoring around it, this ended up being one of the most unique rounds I’ve ever played.

  1. Beautiful , I like it very much . I think the oldest course in France is Pau, not so far from Toulouse where I live . Created by a Britisher who was the specialist of the mountains Pyrénéees . Specialists are usually aliens , foreign .

  2. Great golf James 👍🏻 absolutely love that place, first time I played it i hated it then tried it again and fell in love with it, you need to appreciate the course for what it is and not what you want it to be. have played it 10 years on the trot when on holiday down there

  3. Going to play there this summer. RND, ilfracombe for a bit of fun and Saunton both causes. Hopefully sunny and low winds ⛳️

  4. Great vid, loved the history and u played really well without getting hot with the putter or anything looking good bud!
