STANFORD, Calif. – Santa Clara men’s golf saved their best round for last, shooting 3-over 283 in Saturday’s final round of The Goodwin to climb two spots and finish in 24th. Three Broncos – J.P. Odland, Calider Overfelt and Matt Robles – shot 2-under par for the day at the par 70 Stanford Golf Course.

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:


Odland, who opened the tournament 3-over in the first round, turned in consecutive 68s in rounds two and three, and climbed 13 spots on the final day to tie for 26th at 1-under 209. 
Odland had three birdies against just one bogey in the final round.
Overfelt was right behind Odland in a tie for 29th after vaulting 25 spots in the final round with his 68 to finish at even par 210. He was bogey-free on Friday with a pair of birdies. 
Robles also saved his best for last with a 68 as well on Saturday to jump 33 spots up the board into a tie for 50th at 3-over 73-72-68–213. 
No. 23 Stanford won the team title at 17-under 823 while New Mexico’s Mesa Falleur won medalist honors at 12-under 198.
