The Irish environmental group that challenged the original plans for Donald Trump’s Doonbeg golf course are now insisting that no new permissions can be granted at the site until the status of a rare snail in the area is improved.

Friends of the Irish Environment (FIE) are objecting to planning permission applications entered by TIGL Ireland Enterprises Ltd for considerable works at Trump International Golf Links and Hotel, Doonbeg – including plans for upgrades to the golf course and a grand ballroom.
