Ladies were given the chance to try their hand at golf in an event organised by the Tydd St Giles club.

The ladies section offered all-comers who may never even picked up a golf club the opportunity to try the game.

Ladies captain Sue Racey was on hand to oversee the ladies going out and, with the weather fine, a good day was had by all taking part.

New club captain Jason Farmer has got to work by organising his first seniors team match of the season.

The side will play other senior teams from around the area and began with an away fixture at Heacham Manor.

A hard fought match resulted in a 3-3 draw with all players enjoying taking part and already looking forward to the next game.
