  1. Vokey always gets so much praise and their wedges are no better performing than any other, perform worse than some and arent even forged so the feel doesnt match their irons

  2. Forged hard to find? Does it really matter though it’s wedges. Also taylormade and mizuno make great forged wedges if that’s what you need.

  3. Stop spinning like crazy… but the grooves are maximized to clear out grass and water for control. The grooves and clearing debris is what allows for spin. High CG does help flight balls lower. But no one out of green side rough or a 25 yard over the bunker approach wants to flight the ball down. They want it to get up quickly with as much spin as possible to stop the ball asap. So are you marketing out of both sides of the mouth? And what about your sole grinds and bounce angles? Vokey and Cleveland are the most trusted by elite players, and have been the most consistent performers players of every handicap have been able to rely on for decades. Mizuno and Callaway and TaylorMade also make incredible wedges. So if you are going to say they all have serious competition now, and then give contradictory statements about your own wedges, you got a problem. Anyone wanting a great edge option, start with Vokey and Cleveland, then Mizuno and Callaway then TaylorMade, then Kirkland. Yes, Kirkland makes the top tier of wedges. And if cost is the key factor in your decision, run to Costco. Don’t walk, run to Costco. If money isn’t the primary factor, start at the top and find what fits your game and try out wedge grinds and bounce set ups. If you just want an off the rack, top tier wedge and don’t want to mess with testing or are new to the game and don’t know yet what fits best, run to Costco.
