I actually prefer having the tee just barely higher than the grass. That way, it looks more like it's sitting on the ground and I swing like I need to get the leading edge shaving the grass off the tee box. I get flippy otherwise.
Agree back in the stance – only issue is – on some tees we are on grass and some on mats – on the mats hard to do this so it becomes a problem – not a problem on the fairway – same with irons you can’t compress into the mat so you end up sweeping – only answer I use fairway woods on the mats or sweep a high cut say 7 wood and on the grass I compress – what do you reckon Alex?
