Approx 140 yd par 3 at Sawgrass. My buddy asked if you had 10 tries, would you hit this green one time and how much would you be willing to put on it? Personally when my PW is dialed I feel 5 tries is plenty.
The green looked a lot browner from the drone shots on TV. Is that photo from this year?

It depends on the environment for me.
Am I trying in front of hundreds of people and also being televised nationally and also playing for millions of dollars? I might get too nervous and struggle to make good contact.
Is it just me and my buddies? Sure, smooth 9 iron should get there. I’ve played a course before that has a replica of this hole and hit it on on my first try and ended with a par on the hole, so I’d like to bet I can do it again.

My PW is anywhere from 125-135 depending on flushness, so I’d probably go with that assuming that carries the edge.

There are days where I’d pick up the 7 iron and feel like I’m gonna birdie the hole.
Then there are days where you could let me drop it ten feet from the cup and I feel like I’d still hit the water.
