If you struggle with shanks, this simple golf drill can help you fix the problem immediately.

Place two tees in the ground to create a small gate around the ball:

One tee just outside the ball

One tee slightly behind and inside

Position the ball just ahead of the gate

The goal is simple: swing without hitting the tees.

If your club passes cleanly through the gate, it becomes nearly impossible to strike the hosel — meaning you cannot shank the shot.
