Summer Creek Trout Fishing With Spinners | THE DRIP [Ep. 2]

This episode brings us to some promising new water, which ultimately proved to be junk. First, we patrol a new stretch near the headwaters of a small stream. Branigan’s first cast yielded a beautiful brook trout from under a deep cut bank, but the rest was mostly a bust. We move on to revisit another semi-familiar stretch for redemption before calling it quits for the day. After morning thunderstorms the next day, we decide to visit a high-profile trout stream with lots of structure improvements. The first high-traffic stretch was manicured like a golf course, but trout sightings were few and far between. We netted some better results, including one gorgeous fish, after traveling downstream to a stretch with less fishing pressure. Our day ended after coming across some “false” agates (long, painful story), and the heat of the day beat us into submission.
