  1. One fascinating thing you notice when you watch great swings in slow motion is this.

    Even though the swing looks fast and explosive in real time, it is not one single movement.
    It is a sequence.

    One movement triggers the next.
    Each part of the body does its job and then transfers the energy to the next segment.
    That is what creates the kinematic sequence.

    It starts from the ground.
    The lower body begins moving toward the target.
    Then the hips rotate.
    After that the upper body follows.
    And only later do the wrists release.

    When this order is correct, the swing starts to feel effortless and powerful at the same time.

    This is why great swings often look so smooth and relaxed.
    They are not trying to create speed everywhere at once.
    They let the sequence create speed for them.
