I appreciate the slower swing speeds Harrison used. That helped a bunch. As someone who swings 81-82 mph and is worried about decent angles…seeing it come in under 45* is something to think about as I test. And if shaft play will come in to play for me.
Love your video and equipment tests, but all your hitters are pros who hit the heck out of these clubs which is not real world for most of us. Have you ever considered getting a regular hitter do these videos?
Compare G440 to G740?
I tested last years i530 vs TaylorMade, cobra and Mizuno and the ping was the fastest I tested. I finished with Mizuno going in the bag but the ping was a close 2nd!!
I like ping. I play some ping clubs. But please let’s stop with this narrative that they only release clubs if they have improved the product. They release product on a cycle regularly like everyone else. They’re like titleist on a two year but it’s the same approach as everyone. I appreciate the company focus but that narrative is just marketing branding bs.
