Do you really need a $200 wedge, or can a cheaper option perform just as well? In this video I test the new Vice Golf VGW02 wedges to see if they can compete with premium wedges that cost $70 more.
I tested the Vice Golf VGW02 wedges on the course and around the green, looking at spin, distance control, feel, and versatility. These wedges are significantly cheaper than many OEM wedges, so the real question is whether average golfers actually need to spend $200 on a wedge to get great performance.

Yes….yes I do
How do these compete vs the Takomo SF002?
For who I imagine these wedges are intended for, the loft progression they come in makes a lot of sense. As stronger lofted irons are much more common now, a 50-54-58 setup fits that theme a bit better
MG5 are elite I got mine lightly used for 160 each 😊

Very interested in them. I'm hesitant since I play graphite shafts. I want to get them in the Mitsubishi Whiz shafts, but I can't find any information about them. I play MMT now, and I love them. Both are made by Mitsubishi, but I still want to know how similar or different the Whiz shafts are compared to the MMTs.
