Here are the plans for construction of base and cabinet, I didn’t put anything for trimming out the sides or the top. We just used 1/2″ plywood and covered the seams with 1×4. Glued and screwed every connection for strength. 1 1/4″ conduit to hang screen, we drilled into the 2×4’s to set those. Used 6 hinges on each hinge point of the base. Hope this helps everyone that wants to do something like this. I will post pictures of the cable system on this thread when I get a chance! Total without the computer was around 3k, got some good deals on Black Friday. I’ll try to answer any questions that you might have. Good Luck!

This is the best I’ve seen on the portable garage sim setup. Great job OP!

Absolutely love this! Nice job, OP!
Any issues with balls hitting the conduit and ricochetting all over the place?

Amazing work! Thank you!

When you have time can you also list the kind of conduit you used to hang the screen. Maybe some links to the sim screen you bought? This have all been a huge help already. Also is the conduit the same as the pipes you ran through the cabinets too?

Is the foam actually solid enough to stop a ball strike and not rip a hole in it? I ordered some and it was super flimsy

Very gracious of you to share this info!
Question about the base, does it just drag on the ground when going up and down? What about adding like skateboard wheels?
TheSkiingMonkey2
That looks awesome! Any idea on total cost or total time spent making it? Also did you do a how to video at all during the making of this?

Great job! Very curious about the winch system. I’ve got my platforms built. Thought I’d just put wheels on the one side of one platform and be able to lift onto the other platform to store when not using. Wayyy too heavy for that!
Thanks so much for sharing the plans, and looking forward to how the winch works.
Does the platform rub or drag on the ground when it’s lifted? Right now I just have two independent platforms on casters that I manually lift and roll to behind my screen. Eventually going to refurb and partially finish out garage, among other things putting down plastic garage floor tiles …. Definitely want to steal your ideas here!

That’s awesome! Exactly what I need for my garage space! Thanks for sharing.
Are the balls hitting the back wall at all?

Awesome! Thank you for your service 🙏 I built a similar fold up setup a while back and people kept asking me for plans and I never made time to make them haha. Your setup and plans look super clean!

This is amazing great stuff man!
I have the same setup. Works great; hoping the winch system lasts (only concern).[Sim setup](https://www.reddit.com/r/Golfsimulator/s/68djrqFtMK)
