PING just dropped some of the most talked-about irons of the year, and we put them under the microscope.

In this video, we break down the real differences between the PING i540, i530, G740, and G730 using our Cool Clubs 3D scan data, plus scientifically verified strike testing at 70mph and 80mph.

We also dive into what the numbers reveal about ball speed, distance potential, and dispersion, and ask the big question.

Are iron companies starting to hit the limit on distance gains.

If you want real performance data instead of marketing hype, this one is for you.
Drop a comment below and tell us which iron you would game: i540, i530, G740, or G730.

  1. Great review! Especially the dispersion data. Agree that it is nice to see the focus shift from raw distance to control and consistency with the I series.

    That graph was pretty telling.

Now the million dollar question is about field… But as you guys said, you leave that to others, you were just focusing on the raw performance.
