Most courses you play will have the standard 4 par 5’s. Some layouts may allow for 5 par 5’s. A course I recently joined (Lake Valley Golf Club) in Camdenton, MO has a whopping 6 par 5’s. It also has 6 par 4’s and par 3’s.
Can anyone name another course with a 6-6-6 format?

Chardonnay in Napa
Westridge Golf Course in McKinney, TX. I don’t live near there any more but I always enjoyed playing there.
Stonehedge in Gull Lake Michigan
Presidio in San Francisco.
Edit: Ignore this, I’m an idiot. Read below to see why.
Dairy creek in SLO, CA (the 9 holes that remain) are 3-3-3. Kind of a funky layout but a lot of fun
Chardonnay Golf Course in Napa, CA is a 6-6-6 course.

Cabot Cliffs
Springhill in Albany, Oregon
This scorecard has 1 par 5, maybe 2. That just looks like a par 67 masquerading as a par 72.
i had a siilar experience last week, really threw me off
Love Lake Valley, best value membership in the ozarks. Was a member there for 3 years before moving away. 5 3 5 to start and then the hardest hole on the course. Felt lucky to be +4 at times going into 5.
Sounds like a pace of play nightmare with reachable par 5s.
5-3-5 to start would put me in a bad mood tbh. But could be a fun course! Sometimes just having 3 par 4s to start is welcomed.
The silver course at Dorale has 6-6-6, honestly one of the most fun playing experiences I can remember.
Nikanti in Thailand is 6-6-6
How’s the course? I’ve played Old Kinderhook and Osage National, but not that one. Membership seems like a great deal if you are local.
That being said…it tips out at sub 6400 yards and there are six tee boxes? Blues tees are rated at 71.5 for a par 72 course? What are we doing here?
Park Ridge in Lake Worth, FL. Also built on an old garbage dump
Buenavista Golf on the beautiful island of Tenerife is a 6-6-6 layout, dying to go back and play there now that I am a 13 instead of a generous 40 handicap!
