SAN FRANCISCO (March 9, 2026) – Washington State Women’s Golf posted the second-best second-round score on the opening day of the Juli Inkster Invitational at TPC-Harding Park Monday.
The Cougars posted a five-over in the second round, one stroke back of tournament leader California who posted a four-under in the second round. Cal leads the 14-team field at two-over and Washington State is tied for tenth with San Francisco at plus-24, one stroke back of UNLV.
Junior Sara Pineros leads the way after posting a two-over 74 in the opening round before going one-under 71 in the second round to sit tied for eighth at one-over, two strokes back of third. Pineros opened the day with a pair of birdies in her first round before adding two more birdies and just one bogey in her second-round 71, tied for the third-best second-round score in the 78 player field.
Freshman Kaitlyn Helm carded three birdies in her second round and is tied for 39th at seven-over, freshman Anya Cedo posted a second-round 73 to sit tied with sophomore Agnes Brink in 49th at eight-over. Senior Hannah Harrison recorded three birdies throughout the day and is tied for 60th.
Tuesday’s final round will start 8 a.m.
The Course and Tournament Format
The Juli Inkster Invitational is played at the TPC – Harding Park in San Francisco.
The course plays as a par-72 at 6,275 yards.
Teams played 36 holes Monday and will play 18 holes Tuesday.
