We are pleased to announce an exciting fundraising event for the Club’s Academy, taking place on Wednesday 29th April at the Laceby Manor Golf Resort.

Hosted in partnership with the luxury resort, the GTFC Academy Golf Day will bring together supporters, local businesses and golf enthusiasts for a memorable day on one of Lincolnshire’s most picturesque courses, all while helping raise vital funds for the development of the Club’s young players.

Set within 150 acres of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Laceby Manor offers a relaxed yet high-quality environment featuring an award-winning spa and gym, two restaurants, accommodation including spa suites, lodges and pods, and a beautifully maintained 18-hole championship golf course.

The day will begin with a breakfast bun and drinks on arrival, giving participants the chance to settle in before heading out onto the course.

Teams will then compete in an 18-hole Better Ball competition, played via a Shotgun start, ensuring all groups begin their rounds at the same time and enjoy the course together.

Following the golf, players will return to the clubhouse for a BBQ reception, where Grimsby Town players and staff will be in attendance. The afternoon will conclude with a prize presentation, celebrating the winning teams along with a number of spot prize winners.

The event aims to raise funds for the continued development of the GTFC Academy, helping to support coaching, facilities and opportunities for the next generation of Mariners talent.

Entry is available to teams with a minimum donation of £250 per team, with all proceeds contributing directly to the Academy.

There will also be additional sponsorship opportunities available on the day for businesses wishing to support the Academy while gaining visibility during the event.

Anyone interested in exploring these opportunities or entering a team is encouraged to register your interest in the GTFC Academy Golf Day, please complete the entry form and return it to: [email protected].

Spaces are expected to fill quickly, so early registration is recommended.
