BOULDER — The No. 44-ranked Colorado women’s golf team is set to face an elite field this week at the GameAbove Golf Invitational, March 9-10, at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.
 

Colorado is one of 11 schools participating in the 54-hole event at the 6,564-yard, par-72, Rolling Hills Country Club. The field features seven of the top 30 teams in the nation and three of the top five: No. 2 USC, No. 3 Oregon and No. 4 Texas A&M.
 
The first 36 holes will be played on Monday, with teams beginning off the first and 10th tees at 8:50 a.m. MT. Tuesday’s final round will also begin at 8:50 a.m. MT.
 
Colorado is coming off its second win of the season, claiming the Causeway Invitational title on Feb. 24 in Sacramento. The Buffaloes will start the same five golfers that have competed in the last two tournaments.
 
Sophomore Ellen O’Shaughnessy and freshman Teemapat Pateetin tied for second at the Causeway Invitational at 3-under-par. Junior Carolyn Fuller tied for 12th at 3-over, notching her fourth top 15 finish of the season. Maya McVey and Vanessa Ngo round out the Buffaloes’ lineup.
 
Colorado is paired with No. 26 SMU and Long Beach State for Monday’s first round. Those groups will begin on the back nine, at the 10th tee at 8:50 a.m. MT.
