Hey coach. Really love the glossary videos it helps a lot teaching myself football here in germany. I would really like to see a video about how you label offensive players in playcalls. Like what letters you use for each player. I have seen a lot of different ways (for example the slot is the H or the F or even other letters or how you would label a 2nd TE or a 4th/or even 5th WR, 2nd RB etc.) and it would be really helpful to hear how you labeled your offense. Is the nose tackle in a 3-4 head up with the center given a technique designation?
Jon Ritchie talked one time about YOUR 4 STATS that guarantees you win the game. I can't remember all 4. I want to say… Turnovers, Total Run Plays, Comp % maybe? Can you do a video on this topic? Please and thank you.

So for a twin TE formation, do both DEs follow the same rules or are they different so they know who the number is for?
7 tech,= inside eye TE, 8 tech= head up TE,, 9 tech=outside eye TE

Wait! What if the weak side end is lined up inside? 4 for head-up and 5 for outside but they left out what if they're lined up inside? Or is that something that's never done?

Thanks! learned and was inspired so much from this video and the video I watched befere it of yours. I had never heard of a plug before, really enjoy playing football games with friends after work and I never knew Instinctually I was playing what you call a Plug. Seems there is a ton of crossover in defensive formations and concepts, I see for example the Match coverage cover 4 has a safety playing something like a plug and in the game that coverage is all the rage, What beats cover 4 match? tons of people in that community would eat a video on that up!

I was doing this type of plays back in 9th grade in 2001. Just for fun or to try to add to either Madden or NFL2K 🤔
So the strong side isn’t numerical order? 769
All others are 345, and 123. Why mix up the strong side like that?
I am a fan of the NFL from England and have been since very late 90's. I would say I have a good understanding of the game but some of the verbage goes over my head at times.
This video and the 3-4 Defense video are fantastic at explaining them. Please Coach can we get some more of these. Really, ones that cover who or what positions or assignments the Y, X, Z, F are (and any other letter I have forgotten!).

Watched football all my life and never understood what the hell a 3 technique meant. Thanks coach. Why did they screw up the pattern after the first 5? 1 through 5, the lower the number, the closer you are to the ball. Then it's 7,6, 9. And what happened to 8?
