Oregon’s Newest Golf Course! | Back 9 at Bar Run!
The back 9 at Bar Run Golf is a par-35 layout that blends scenic riverside beauty with the unique industrial character of its former life as a sand and gravel mine. Designed by Dan Hixson, this stretch is known for being quirky, experimental, and fun.
The stretch begins with immediate access to the South Umpqua River. Holes 10 and 11 run directly along the riverbank, offering some of the most serene views on the property.
In a nod to the land’s history, you’ll see pieces of mining machinery out of play but within view. Notably, a large dragline bucket stands guard between the 14th fairway and the 16th green.
