Keep your miss hits in front of you, rather than left or right, eliminate penalty shots, and work hard on pitching, chipping, and holing putts. Fortunately, I learned this as a kid and was amazed at how much it helped me score better. I also learned the only time to pull the driver was on holes where I could hit it anywhere without fear of having to re-load.
