Quincy’s Golf & Social has officially opened at 245 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, taking over the space formerly occupied by Not Your Average Joe’s in the Kentlands. Our very own “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis stopped by to support during opening week and a video of the experience can be seen below.
The new concept blends a country club-style restaurant and bar with indoor golf entertainment, centered around state-of-the-art simulator bays. Guests can switch between a virtual driving range and full rounds on digitally recreated courses, with each bay set up with couches and televisions designed for both players and spectators.
The venue is intended to appeal to both golfers and non-golfers, offering a social environment where groups can play casually while enjoying food and drinks. Simulator bays were priced at $50 per hour during a recent weekday visit around 1pm. During that visit, several game modes were available, ranging from driving the ball as far as possible to target practice challenges and even a mini-golf style game.
The food and beverage program is a major part of the concept. Quincy’s Golf & Social plans to offer weekday breakfast and weekend brunch in addition to a full lunch and dinner menu that includes steak, seafood, pasta, sandwiches, and other comfort dishes. Drinks during the visit included a transfusion and an espresso martini. Lunch featured the “qlub” turkey club sandwich, a steak and cheese wit, short rib cannelloni, and a slice of New York cheesecake.
Beyond casual play, the venue plans to host leagues, memberships, club fittings, and private lessons. There is also a private simulator area designed for corporate events and gatherings. Ownership has emphasized that the new Kentlands location will not replace the original Quincy’s Bar & Grill at 616 Quince Orchard Road. The two locations are intended to operate as different concepts, with the new space focused on golf entertainment and social dining.
