Bought the go sports 10ft wide sim enclosure that is pushed up all the way to the left of in my 12 foot wide room. I play with all right handed players and have an sig pro softy hitting strip I intend to cut in. Should I put the hitting strip dead center or place a bit offset to the right when facing the impact screen.

Yes still have some wire cleanup to do.

No offense to you but why didn’t you just build it into the wall? Do you have windows or doors behind your enclosure?

I had a 10 ft wide enclosure and you definitely can get away having the strip dead center if you have open space behind your stance. I just don’t recommend it for you who has a wall. I was setup in a garage so I had more swing room.

I would def go far right. Hopefully you have a launch monitor that sits on the ground

That AC unit may interfere with radar based systems by the way like Flightscope Mevos, R10, MPM2Pro. Great opportunity to get a square or something that sits on the side

I have mine offset right. Take some practice swings and see what seems right, then add 6-8″ for knuckleheads

If you put it in the center of your impact screen you probably wouldn’t have enough room to hit driver right?

Looks great man. I would offset it if you are hitting drivers. I have a similar setup, and a long driver will get close to the left side wall on the backswing. I have 11′ foot total width, and I think I would hit my driver if I swung from dead center. Your projector looks far enough behind the swing area, that it won’t be an issue, but I needed a projector that had horizontal offset(H keystone), so I could take it out of the swing path. My friends that had steep swings came dangerously close, since without the keystone the lens had to be centered. This meant the projector was offset to the left because of the lens placement. I had to get one that allowed moving it horizontally.

btw, I have the same enclosure, and you are going to want to make some safety enhancements if you have kids. The padding is really insufficient if a shot hits the bars. It will ricochet back at the swing area with velocity. The padding they use is cheap and will compress against the metal bars. The bottom bar is especially bad, where it could literally injure the person swinging or someone else in the room. The right burner will come back at you at almost the same speed you sent it. I used a memory foam wedge across the bottom bar, and used smaller foam wedges behind the stock padding of the rest of the screen. So far, it’s been safe for a few months, but I’m still wary. Without upgrades, you will also have balls make their way behind the velcro on the padding, and hit your back wall. That’s along the sides and top of the screen especially.

I would push the enclosure to the right not left. It will get you closer to the middle hitting driver and give everyone more room.
Looks awesome, nice clean set up. Looks like a mini split even, wow
