Teammate tries to cut the corner over trees. Instead, he snap hooks it directly at the trees. Never gets 15 feet off the ground. Squares a tree and ricochets directly back at us at 80mph.
I take one millisecond to decide I’ll be funny by catching the ball and putting it back down on his tee.
Ball hits my pinky meat.
To make it worse I assume it’s broken and just tape it. 21 days later and I’m going to puke from pain so I get an X-ray.
It’s dislocated. I could’ve had it fixed on the spot and finished the round. Instead, I have a paralyzed pinky.
Haven’t golfed since.
