ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If it’s a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

You are honestly a coach. I have been improving my score every time I play. Thank you
Great tips, I have definitely found the hack motion has helped. It isnt free, of course, but for something I thought was nonsense, it has been very good.
thanks
Danny, I block the ball too much. Solidly, but too much. How can I overcome this please?
These tips are so helpful. Just gotta find which one will work best for me.
You can always tell the slicers who do two things wrong, swing outside in and with open club face, at the range. Every now and then they'll hit a beautiful shot (not curving) heading straight leftwards. On those shots they square the head to the ball but still swing outside in.
Danny – out of the park again and again. Don’t ever stop doing this man!
Could you clarify whether the lead palm down/trail palm up is for slicers only or for both slice and hook to keep clubface square at impact?
The slice is fairly easy to get rid of, it's the push slice that's the bugger – I'm swinging nicely from in to out and then suddenly (around the 6th hole) I leave the face open; from then on I'm terrified to swing freely and will also over-correct with smothered hooks… Goodbye round.
you literally just condenesed all of your previous videos into this single one.
Danny, thanks for this video. I have a draw bias but recently have been having trouble with snappy, smothered drives that go short left, or even very solid drives that over-draw/hook and end up in trouble. In my setup, I have been bumping my hips forward, but from your video, I determined that I had slipped into over-bumping them. So, in my round yesterday, I concentrated on bumping just a bit less, and it made a huge difference. Of my 14 drives, 12 were solid and in play. The other two were not as good but were playable – and most importantly, were not in trouble on the left. Thanks for the channel! Much appreciated.
I hook the ball so much. I know you did a little bit on it, but I would love to see more. DRIVER is so erratic. I am trying too many things for sure. Your easy powerful swing is something to strive for. I will look for some driver videos of yours.
Forgot about bumping hips forward at address…i sort of did it by keeping weight more on front foot throughout swing (relatively “more” on front foot not always) ….also keeping the trail knee /leg from coming in and collapsing looks helpful yet i forgot about it lol…..still i almost completely rid myself of the slice yesterday..still had a high right (push)miss on occasion, and a fade i wasnt trying for on a few after id miss left that over drew on previous hole …but mostly all were savable / playable….or more savable misses… but its still golf! Meaning after i had a few great ,long drives leaving me a wedge to short iron in (usually the clubs i flush more often on full swings) and id miss hit them 🤦🏼♂️😂.. was sort of weird how my tee shots kept me from going way over 100 instead of those short to mid irons ..thank you Danny ,your lessons are some of the easiest to follow ,easiest to understand and easiest to implement around that actually work almost immediately.. i now think about my swing(misses) with more insight than ever and iam gradually shaving strokes even though i dont practice much at all … which reminds me i hit a sand trap and it took 2 to get out ,mostly cause i tried going toward a pin that was most of the lengtH of a longish trap and my full ,slightly fat swing was about a foot short 😬..theres no practice traps in my area i know of so im off to find any of,your trap lessons now 👍🏼✌️
Thanks Danny! This is the last thing I really need and I’ll be breaking 90. Gained 20yds on all my irons after your last video! 🎉
Good evening Danny, I used your driver tips (and Pete Cowen's Dubai drills) from the past few weeks in my 18-hole round of golf this morning. Of the 14 holes where the driver is needed, I hit 12 holes consistently straight and far with my driver. 11 of those were in the middle of the fairway. You are simply the best!
Getting the set-up correct is absolutely key to a consistent golf swing. I like how you are addressing one set up fix and one in-swing fix at a time. I think this is the best way to introduce corrections to a golfer's swing. Providing too much information just mucks up the water. Furthermore, a lot of times those set-up fixes fix other parts off the swing. No we are getting more bang for the buck! Great video and visual ingredients to help the driver straighter.
Just had my best round this yr with my driver thanks to this video!
Took this to the range today. Holy shit. Sliced like three, hooked a few, and everything else was straight of a baby fade.
What a difference. (I was also playing around with moving the ball back in the stance). The hip positioning and grip were a game changer. Been slicing the ball for two years. Today was hitting bullets.
Used these set up techniques and hit 11 fairways without a big slice. Huge improvement for me…plus elbows facing down!!!!
Hi Danny! I want to thank you for all your tips and descriptions. They all work brilliant! Now, I am able to shape my drive as I need it on the course. Greetings from Austria!
@DanielMaude, Hi Danny, I used your "Ingredients" on the course over the weekend and they certainly helped. I also dropped my trail foot back slightly in my stance which seemed to help with my rotation. Would these ingredients also help with hitting irons?
How do I not go down and up on my swing? I know the flaring feet thing helps, but is there anything else?
That trail leg tip is Brilliant! I’m pretty sure this tip might be a game changer for my driver. I’m going straight to the range after work to try it out!
I was slicing 90% but have improved greatly from watching you Danny. But the more I try to ramp up power the more inconsitant I become. Any advice would be great Danny. I could be very old by time I get an inperson lesson with you 😂
trying so hard to be >3R with path and >3L face…release release release
I’m thinking about purchasing a mini driver 43.75 inches long with 13 degrees of loft. Added accuracy over possible distance is my preference. My question is do I use the same setup and upward attack angle as my driver or does the added loft and shorter club resemble a 3 wood type swing/ setup. Thanks Danny.
Really well explained Danny, cheers
Love your videos. You have helped me tremendously. How does this apply to irons? Whenever I try to set up this way with irons, I hit it thin.
Hi Danny, i am a german golfer for now 15 years, staying on hcp 11.I look a lot of golf on tv and many videos.i am missing tips and drills to find the balance in the swing, think this is one of the most important details . Maybe you can help, thank you
The way you explain swing mechanics is unique and makes so much intuitive sense. My distances went way up and I now have to club down two full clubs from normal (my regular golf buddy is so salty). I'd like very much to support your efforts but couldn't figure out how to send you money. Can you provide?
One thing i notice with most right hand golfers is eye dominance . Most are right eye dominant and look down target with right eye which opens sholders and hips at setup. Very important to realize this and correct it in setup.
Talking one step back with the right foot in Setup. That helped me most with fixing my slice 😉
Danny great session and it has helped for my driver. Hope you can donone for irons since setup is a little different but concepts apply.
Thanks Danny for sharing your knowledge and experience with these valuable advices.
Makes so much sense. Now if I can just remember it in March when I can play again.
Danny, this is to complex for the average golfer. Will result in to many swing thoughts, confusion poor results for high handicappers.
onya Danny
Danny you are a Hall of Fame teacher.
Dose the cat handed drill work with driver swing
Cheers Danny ☺️
Your coaching makes so much sense to me. I've slowly been integrating your tips this year and I've gone from a 27 handicap to a 22 in 4 months across the summer just gone. Obvs I'm delighted!
I'm coming back to golf after more than 20 years, I haven't hit ball yet, as nervous as, I used to play reasonably well, finding this program could be a game changer🤞, thanks for all the tips
My slice problem is perfect face to path but open clubface. Go figure
These suggestions really helped to fix my slice. Thanks a ton, Danny! You are the man!
