Position Summary
The Event and Community Coordinator is a vital member of our events team, responsible for supporting and executing all aspects of Fried Egg Golf events. This role works closely with the Community Manager to plan, manage, and deliver exceptional experiences across our national schedule. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a high golf IQ with a deep understanding of tournament operations.
Responsibilities
On-Site Execution:
Travel to and attend the majority of Fried Egg Golf events (15+ per year)Lead or support day-of operations including check-in, contests, pace-of-play monitoring, and scoringRepresent Fried Egg Golf in a polished and professional manner with guests and partnersEnsure all logistical elements run smoothly and guest experience exceeds expectations
Event Planning & Logistics:
Support Fried Egg Golf event registrations, waitlists, and attendee communicationsOversee Fried Egg Golf Club meetup coordination, registration and communication Coordinate with golf clubs, vendors, and suppliers (e.g., merchandise, catering, signage)Create and manage event timelines, packing lists, and run-of-show documentsHandle participant payments, cancellations, refunds, and replacementsAssist with building and maintaining event webpages and materials
Fried Egg Golf Club Community Management:
Increase community activity on digital platforms; responding to comments/messages, and maintaining a positive, inclusive environmentManage FEGC meetup event creation, registration and communication Set and achieve goals for digital and in-person experiences Qualifications1+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or golf industry rolesStrong project management, communication, and organizational skillsComfortable working remotely and independently, with reliable self-directionPersonable, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressureProficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and event management softwareWillingness and ability to travel to ~16+ events per year, including weekendsHigh golf IQ and understanding of golf events and tournaments is required
