We’d all like to unlock a little more distance, but confidence is often the key to improved performance out on the golf course.

Srixon are a brand that is trusted by a number of major champions- Shane Lowry and Hideki Matsuyama – as their golf ball of choice on tour.

Now they have released new additions and the latest models to their Q-Star range. This is one of the most recognisable golf ball line-ups Srixon has to offer, which features everything from tour models to soft feel offerings.

From tour-level performance with a softer feel to visual alignment and distance-focused models, the new Q-Star family is designed to give everyday players an option that suits them.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Srixon Q-Star golf balls 2026 and whether there is a fit for you…

Srixon Q-Star Golf Balls: The Technology

At the heart of every Q-Star ball is Srixon’s FastLayer Core. This helps encourage a gradual transitions within the make-up of the balls to go from a soft centre to a firmer outer edge.

This design helps generate higher ball speeds and straighter ball flights off the tee. It also allows the balls to maintain a softer, more responsive feel on irons and wedges .

The exact compression and tuning vary by model. Although, the goal for each remains the same and that is; balanced performance for golfers who don’t want a rock-hard distance ball.

All three balls use Srixon’s 338 Speed Dimple Pattern, designed to reduce drag at launch and maintain lift through the ball’s flight.

The result is a penetrating trajectory, strong carry distance, and improved stability in windy conditions.

For 2026, Srixon has leaned more into visual technology. Both Trackline and Divide designs aim to improve alignment, roll feedback and spin visibility without compromising performance.
