Anyone dealing with tennis/golf elbow, the Theraband Flex Bar(can be bought on Amazon) does wonders. Have been dealing with tennis elbow(outside of elbow) lingering for a bit now. Bought a flex bar after looking into fixes, have been doing the Tyler Twists for about 3 days now for about 15-20 mins and my elbow feels so much better. Plan on continuing to maintain and strengthening the tendons in elbow so it doesn't flare up when golf season comes around.

I used one as well and felt improvement

Just tell me you will only use this power for good.

I’ve used the Theraband in the past and felt a degree of improvement, but someone else here recently suggested rice bucket training, and that has worked much more effectively for me

I somehow developed this condition in the off season, driving me absolutely nuts! OP thanks for this I’m buying one

A physical therapist recommended this for some chronic pain in my forearms. I highly recommend. There are good YT videos that show proper technique.

Do you use the Tyler twist for both tennis and golf? Or different exercises?

I had it got these. They help tremendously.

Also pick up one of their pressure point braces. Wear it daily until you don’t feel it any more. Then another month while golfing.

I bought the green band a few weeks ago and feel like it’s helping. Get some kind of arm brace as well. I think the combo has helped relieve some of my pain.

Doctor and golfer here. These definitely work. In fact it’s the only thing that worked for my golfer’s elbow.

These work, but not as well as rest. That was the only thing that would “cure” my golfer’s elbow. Until it came back.

Ultimately you’re gonna want to look into graphite iron shafts. I’ve had exactly zero elbow pain since switching to graphite.

Works wonders. My elbow was pain free within a week or two of using this for 10-15 minutes a day.

Been 2+ years since and no flare ups with the elbow either

I’ll add my voice to the chorus of people singing the praises of these things. I was skeptical even after I first started using mine but a few weeks of consistent use of the green theraband, and my golfer’s elbow had essentially disappeared. It always amazes me when something so simple is so effective.

I sound like a shill now. I promise I’m no shill

Went through PT for months, spend $100s, got nowhere.

Bought one of these on amazon, watched 2 videos on youtube, and within a couple months my elbow was pain free.

This thing is unreal for tennis and golf elbow. Took 2 weeks to cure mine forever.

The gyroball is what you guys want. Trust me.

Wow I am so relieved that I am not the only one experiencing this!! I developed this in the off season and I’m the only one in my group that had it. Thought I was going crazy

    Thank you OP!!

It’s about strengthening your wrist/hand EXTENSORS and stretching your flexors

This is a tool that can help for wrist extensors, but not hand extensors. So it’s a good start, but not the only tool you’d need

This was the only thing that ever helped my tennis elbow. Highly recommend.

These work great BUT, don’t use them if you just got hurt or it’s a fresh injury. This helps strengthen the areas to help prevent future issues, but if you use it while it’s still inflamed it’s just gonna make it worse

  21. Good_Necessary_6937

Thing really helps plus use of a Theragun

  22. NotRod96

Fixed mine! Then I realized I grip the golf club too tightly and I haven’t had the pain in years

  23. Manzan79

Worked amazingly then the tendon tore 💀

  24. Have them sitting next to my couch and use them on occasion in hopes it never happens again!

  25. mindwalk_11

Father in law used it with much success.

Great to keep one in the car if you have hands free driving. I use it all the time when cruising down the interstate on long trips.

A couple weeks of rest did mine no good, no improvement. Grabbed one of these and 2-3 days later it was gone.

Made me a firm believer in active recovery

I’ve dealt with this over the years as well. Therabands and squeezey twisty tools are good… but the only thing that knocked it out completely… was strength training.

Hold dumb bell in your hand at a 90° in front of you, palm up. Rotate wrists 180° to palm down, rotate back. 3 sets of 10.

Go as light as you need at first, 2.5lb, 5 lb, 10 lb, just lightest where you can do the exercise without pain. Add more weight as it strengthens, up to 15 lb, 20 lb, 25lb. Don’t need to get to whatever your max bicep curl weights are but get as heavy as you can comfortably still complete the sets.

Your muscles are stronger than your tendons. You swing full speed hundreds of times. So the stress goes to the weakest link in the chain, your tendons. Strengthen them and you will no longer have pain.

Everything else is a band aide in my experience.
