Connor McDavid has the potential to hit a 200-point season if he sharpens his on-ice vision and timing with the puck to reduce turnovers. Lately, Ive watched several instances where he bursts into the offensive zone at top speed, weaving past multiple defenders with incredible skill, only to attempt a pass that doesn’t connect and leads to a change of possession. Despite being the most dominant player in the league and still producing elite numbers, fine-tuning this one aspect of his game could elevate him to an even higher level. It often seems as though his skating speed surpasses his visual tracking—something only Wayne Gretzky, truly mastered. If McDavid focused more on balance, timing, and puck awareness at high speed, I genuinely believe he could add another 50 or more points per season.
