Looking for any input or advice on my sim planning. I was originally going to go with the default 5’ depth enclosure but I think that would push me back further into the garage cutting down on space behind hitter. Im thinking of a 8-10ft hitting distance to screen with a 3’ enclosure depth.

The window next to enclosure will have a roller shade and I’m also going to mount 1/8 polycarbonate sheets to each sash using magnetic tape and magnets. I think that should be enough protection for any shanks.

I’m excited about this build and hoping to be done in the next few weeks. My approach to the design was inspired by @SimulateGolf who posted a picture the other day and that’s the general look I am going for. That setup is sweet.

How far is the wall you want to put the screen from the garage door opener

If you have space, mo e the table back and put a bag stand there.

Random thoughts you may have accounted for…Make sure you account for 12inches or more for behind the enclosure… the impact screen needs room to flex/absorb. Ideally you’d have some more space between enclosure or or pads on sides for shank impact as well. You’ll probably need to hit from an offset position – so not where the ball is teed up in the mock up. That bar seating also looks too close hitter so scoot that back as far as you can in garage. A lefty shank could smash your charger or fridge so put netting up if you have guests/kids playing. Double check your projector install location on projector central. Install a cheap $20-30 spotlight for ball location.

Id put the sim closer to the garage door and have some storage space behind the sim. Seems like a lot of wasted space between the garage door and the sim setup this way.

Def better watch those garage door tracks that disappear in your AI rendering.

That’s not enough room to swing a driver

You might need a high lift kit with the garage to raise the rails and opener. Maybe even move to a side mounted opener. Just had mine done for $2300
