CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The spring slate of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference women’s golf season continues Monday, March 2, with five teams back on the links.
Three different ACC teams earned team titles last week, as Virginia Tech claimed the 15-team Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, North Carolina won the Chevron Collegiate and Stanford took the top spot at the Bruin Wave Invitational. Individually, Stanford’s Paula Martín Sampedro won her first medalist honors at the Bruin Wave Invitational.
It is a busy couple of weeks for ACC women’s golf, as the calendar flips to March. All 15 teams are back in action, spread over nine tournaments. Four ACC teams will compete at the Gators Invitational, set for March 6-8, in Gainesville, Florida. Last season, Virginia posted the best finish of any ACC team in the event, finishing fourth in the 14-team field.

The ACC has four teams ranked in the top 25 in the latest Scoreboard powered by Clippd rankings (Feb. 25): No. 1 Stanford, No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 12 Duke and No. 13 North Carolina. Florida State (No. 26) and SMU (No. 27) are just outside the top 25.
In the most recent Scoreboard powered by Clippd Individual Rankings (Feb. 25), nine ACC players ranked in the top 25, including four in the top 10: No. 2 Andrea Revuelta (Stanford), No. 5 Paula Martín Sampedro (Stanford), No. 6 Megha Ganne (Stanford), No. 9 Meja Örtengren (Stanford), No. 11 Macy Pate (Wake Forest), No. 13 Marie Madsen (NC State), No. 15 Kelly Xu (Stanford), No. 18 Chloe Kovelesky (Wake Forest) and No. 19 Rianne Malixi (Duke).
In the first spring Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll (Feb. 27), five ACC teams were ranked in the top 25, led by No. 1 Stanford, followed by Wake Forest (No. 7), Duke (No. 13), North Carolina (No. 14) and Florida State (No. 24). SMU is receiving votes.
Including the fall portion of the 2025-26 season, ACC teams have won 19 team titles, while ACC players have won 13 individual titles. Stanford leads the way with four team titles.
Seven ACC standouts are ranked in the top 25 of the latest LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) Ranking powered by WAGR: No. 1 Megha Ganne (Stanford), No. 4 Kelly Xu (Stanford), No. 7 Mackenzie Lee (SMU), No. 8 Megan Streicher (North Carolina), No. 12 Andie Smith (Duke), No. 18 Emily Odwin (SMU) and No. 23 Anne-Sterre den Dunnen (Wake Forest).
Seven ACC women’s golf standouts were named to the 2025-26 ANNIKA Award Presented by Stifel Final Fall Watch List, announced December 5. The list of 25 includes Stanford’s Megha Ganne, Meja Örtengren, Andrea Revuelta and Paula Martín Sampedro; Wake Forest’s Morgan Ketchum and Chloe Kovelesky; and NC State’s Marie Madsen.
For the first time in program history, Florida State won the 2025 ACC Women’s Golf Championship by defeating Wake Forest, 3-2, in the match play final at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
A total of 12 ACC women’s golf teams earned bids to the 2025 NCAA Regionals, tying for the most selections among all conferences and setting a new league record.
After three ACC teams (Stanford, Florida State and Virginia) advanced to match play at the 2025 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship, Stanford reached the national final but fell to Northwestern, 3-2.
The 2026 ACC Women’s Golf Championship is scheduled for April 16-19 at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina. The semifinal round on Friday, April 18, and the final round on Saturday, April 19, will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
