I've been looking for the first crash that's why I'm here but boy was I into a ride basically every crash happened because of bumb out of nowhere sending the car into road bank's and crashing I'm glad they all survived drivers and spectators

What about 2004 petter solberg when he rolled his subaru hitting a hinkelstein ( ww2 anti tank stone) how he or his co driver weren't killed is amazing .
This really did show the true testament to the strength of the cars

The no 9 is very similar to a crash I had in my Peugeot 205 gti. I was out late at night practicing driving on my favorite road that was perfect with it's bends and open sight of some other car that came from the other direction and I've practiced there maybe 50-70 times. My right front wheel hit a big rock in the edge of the ditch in 80-90 mph so the engine actually flew out and after 4-6 rollover when it stopped.. almost everything was gone around the driver's seat. On the field beside the road they had a big dig out for some old ruins and viking graves. It now had an engine, some wheels, doors.. Luckily I could walk away from the crash with just cut wounds from the window exploding and bruised arms and legs. And I was luckily when the cops came they could not determine my speed or wrong doing because there were no brake lines. It was a 30 mph road so in total idiocy of my driving I had very much luck.

That Makinen one i remember, the car bounced over the spectator, so so lucky.
though i think Makinen Corsica 1997 (i think) when he hit the cow in the road then flew down the hill at 100 and something mph was what first came to mind as the biggest crash i remember.
McRae rally gb 2001 another big one i remember.
i feel like safety glasses would be ideal as a spectator.

This is a quick hit of dopamine and is addictive and bad for us.
Love the way drivers trash the cars, and get given the keys to a new fix up 😅. Or when they crash they're like, we this, we did that, never I this I that 😅. Love the team spirit in rally sector 👍🏾🔥💗
