UGGs are TERRIBLE golf shoes!

Golf shoes have never given me the ankle support I need after 13 years in the NFL. So I did what any reasonable person would do — I called Dom.
Dom the Cobbler has been my guy in South Philly for years. When Nike discontinued the cleat I loved, Dom would track down pairs from other NFL locker rooms and re-sew the soles back together when the glue rotted out. If he can rebuild NFL cleats, he can put golf spikes on the bottom of a boot, right?
We brought Dom nine boots — Timberlands, Merrell hiking boots, Allen Edmonds dress boots, Chelsea boots, Danner military boots, cowboy boots, UGGs, my Nike Superbad football cleats, and a pair of Hulk Hogan wrestling boots. Dom Frankensteined golf cleats onto every single one of them. Then we took them all out to McCall Golf Club in Upper Darby, PA to play a few holes in each pair and rate them on comfort, durability, performance, and style.
Some of them were incredible. Some of them should be illegal. One of them got a negative score.
Golf boots don’t exist yet. Maybe they should.
