Inverness Club in Toledo was announced today as the host site for three future USGA championships: the 2045 U.S. Open, the 2033 U.S. Girls’ Junior, and the 2036 U.S. Women’s Amateur.

The USGA championship schedule already includes two other upcoming events at the renown Toledo club: the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, and the 2029 U.S. Amateur.

When played, the 2045 U.S. Open will be the 13th USGA Championship contested at Inverness Club.

NOGA CEO Robb Schulze, CFO Kris Schulze, and Board/Committee Members Howard Essner, Jerry Lemieux, and Cliff Siehl were all on hand at the USGA Annual Meeting this week in New York for the ‘another major championship to Ohio’ announcement. Additionally, Lemieux will be honored this evening as the 2026 Joe Dey Award winner.
