EVANSTON (February 28, 2026) – Northwestern men’s golf heads to Bluffton, South Carolina this weekend, competing at the Colleton River Collegiate at the Dye Course at Colleton River Club. 
 
The event kicks off with 36-holes of continuous play on Sunday, beginning with a 7:00 a.m. CT shotgun start. Monday’s final round will get underway beginning at 6:45 a.m. CT, also a shotgun start.
 
The Field
The Wildcats are set to compete in a 15-team field that includes host-school Michigan State, Cincinnati, East Tennessee State, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio State, Rutgers, and UT Chattanooga.
 
The Leaderboard
Northwestern heads to the par-72, 7,403-yard Dye Course at Colleton River Club, which hosted the 2015 U.S. Amateur and was also the filming site for “The Legend of Bagger Vance.”

Last Time Out
With strong winds shortening the event to 36 holes, the Wildcats saw a 13-stroke improvement between rounds one and two to place in sixth at the Prestige.
 
After staring the event with a three-over-par 74, Daniel Svärd carded a five-under 66 in his second round, taking a share of sixth-place for his fifth consecutive top-10 finish.
 
Next Up
Following the Colleton River Collegiate, the Wildcats return to the Goodwin, March 26-28, in Stanford, California, where the ‘Cats finished third in last year’s event, with Svärd claiming a share of the individual title.
