  1. After being introduced to Sam via your channel, it’s been quite interesting and entertaining to watch the introduction of his dream and to experience the various stages of its physical development. His business will expand so quickly he will need a much bigger venue by year’s end.👍 I think his concept of fitting/purchasing experience, playing experience, practice/improvement/learning center, party/entertainment/enjoyment venue fills a lot of slots in the new golf attitude of younger golfers and adult beginner golfers. Hopefully traditional golf courses and indoor golf centers can both experience growth and remain sustainable. It is truly a sport for all ages. Good on you Gary for supporting Sam in his dream.

  2. Great to see the progress and hear the vision for the finished product. Being able to offer iron fittings for multiple club numbers is great. You can see the passion being put into the project, I'm sure it's going to be a huge success. You'll get some great content in there Gary. Best of luck Sam, but you won't need it with all the hard work and effort you are putting in.

  3. Looking great so far.Keep up the excellent work Sam! Gaz when it’s done I might have to take vacation and make the trip to see you guys.

  4. Glad to hear you’re doing Edel Sam. Got fitted for wedges and irons in Dubai recently and when I was at the PGA this year, I had a look at their new driving iron – stunning. Hope it works for me and it’ll go in the bag. All the very best with TPG!!

  5. It's very rare everything goes to plan, because there are so many parts to the plan. It only need one thing to go wrong to scupper the overall plan. Weather and illness effects everyone, including contractors, who cannot magic people to complete the job with some are genuinely of sick. The other realistic problem, is, some contractors, do take on more work than they can realistically cope with. That then means that they have to spread their contractors thinner than they would normally, in the hope they can keep all their customers happy. But overall, it invariably means deadlines are not met. Big contractors, who do as an example a 5-mile dual carriageway, they often have strict penalty clauses in their contract, which can mean fines for not completing on time. These fines are sometimes so heavy, it can mean the difference between making a profit and losing money. There are clauses in the contract to allow for bad weather, but overall, the clauses are very strict, for good reason. Time is money at the end of the day. Contractors today, know what can be done in a day, plus or minus 5% for example, they allow for that contingency, within their quote. Now clearly the owner of the building is dealing with the contractors, and their relationship may be more flexible, and is why the completion date has been extended twice. Fingers crossed they can finish it on time. Best of luck Sam, I hope it is a huge success. So much so, you can roll it out all over the country. I'm over in the North West. And look forward to the rosy future for you.

  6. Well done Gaz for supporting a local small golf business. Good luck Sam, sounds like an exciting project and should be very popular.

  7. How do you know Sam is the best master fitter in the world? Does he have a certificate?

  8. Good progress! I have to remind you about "country membership", for those of us who live far away…maybe "honorary country membership" for existing customers… especially from Stockport? 😁 Oh, and opening night TICKETS??? Might be a bridge too far, on top of a very long drive there and back! 😜

  9. Definitely been on there for the Breezy gear 👍
Rhoback would be a good one…..can only get it in the US

  10. Hey Sam! Edel are awesome irons and wedges!! I got a set and they feel great! Their putters are also well renowned! Nice deal you have with primo and breezy I might order from your shop 👍🏼 can’t wait to see the finished project! Gaz this is so cool this series and the exposure you give to Sam! Hope nothing but the best for you guys 👊🏻

  11. As someone who works in the trade of property maintenance for a living, I'd say the progress is slow as well Gaz, and something Sam needs to be on top of. I think his opening date is optimistic, but that said, don't rush to cut corners just to get open.
We'll definitely be having a trip down the M1 to have a look round when it's open boys — gonna be a great facility. Good luck Sam, and if you need a hand getting anything over the line on the refurb I'm happy to come down for a day or so to help with the install – gratis of course. 👍

  12. Stick with it Sam. You will get there mate. Your a great worker and great fitter. Keep supporting him Gaz.

  13. Good to see Sam's new business coming along, if maybe a little slow. He got some good contacts at the PGA show. Opening night should be a blast 👍

  14. I absolutely love the retro look. Definitely a new paradigm. The putting green will also be a nice touch.
