Check out the best shots of the day from Round 2 of the 2026 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches, featuring Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry, Joel Dahmen and Max Homa, among others.

The PGA TOUR kicks off its Florida swing at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, returning to PGA National Resort (Champion Course), one of the circuit’s most demanding and recognizable venues. Defending champion Joe Highsmith looks to repeat after last year’s breakthrough 19-under performance, where he rallied from four shots back with two rounds of 64 on the weekend to win by two. He’ll attempt to become the first back-to-back winner of the event since Jack Nicklaus in 1977-78. Brooks Koepka headlines the field, making his ninth start at PGA National, where his best finish was a runner-up in 2019. Ryan Gerard arrives as the highest-ranked player in the field in both the FedExCup standings and Official World Golf Ranking following consecutive runner-up finishes to open the season. Shane Lowry and Max Homa add further depth to a competitive lineup. The Champion Course (par 71, 7,223 yards) remains a formidable test, with water in play on 15 holes and the decisive “Bear Trap” stretch (Nos. 15-17) once again set to play a pivotal role down the stretch.

  1. Stanger's swing is pure, wouldnt be suprised to see him in the winners circle this year

  2. Max Homa needs to shave his beard , beards are for people who like wood working and making furniture and when they eat they get crumbs in their beard ……Beards are evil

  3. @1:51 you can watch brooks push the putter away from him at the end of the back stroke. He definitely needs the spider. I like brooks I'm just saying that stroke might be worse than mine, doubt it but….hey…I'm not on tour.

  4. You always have to remember when you watch these highlights that they are cherry picking all the exciting things that happen. It makes the Tour seem impossibly good. They are good, but there are also just regular and generally good golf shots without particular fireworks. They want you to get excited watching these because they are endless reels of spectacular shots, but not every shot is really like that.

  5. NBC is so bad they showed just one shot of the leader Smotherman and it was a putt. The time for AI to take over sports announcing can't come fast enough.

  6. They need to give less time to guys that aren't even under par and more time to guys in front. Literally don't care about a guy birding to get back to even on day 2. If he's worth the airtime he should be doing more than the occasional bird.

  7. Welcome to the no stars week why even show this on tv it’s like watching my club house tournament on Wednesday boring and the commentary lacks any excitement .
