I’ll be honest…I would have thought the phrase “Alabama quickie” would not translate to a quick golf trip to Alabama

Saw the title and assumed it was taking place at a truck stop.

Title sounds like something you’d see on Urban Dictionary back in the day

I got an Alabama Quickie in the bathroom stall at the Athens Bucc-ee’s

Every comment so far talking about the title and nothing about the courses. I’d expect nothing less from this sub.
Used to live near Ross Bridge and the entire RTJ Trail was fantastic. Glad you enjoyed those courses

Hell yeah bud. Now tell them how horrible it is here down here. That’s part of the strategy to keep them away.

Did you have the course to yourself? Reminds me of a few years back, I went to Birmingham for work in December. It was 50° and dry that week. I played RTJ Oxmoor Valley on a Thursday at like noon. The only people I saw on the course the entire round were grounds crew. I was dumbfounded. In Washington, 40°+ and dry in the winter and you’ll have trouble getting on the tee sheet. Alabama? Wide open baby, walk right on.

Oh look who gets on at overton. Knees hurt or are you a steel barron? Lol great line up

Alabama golf is wildly underrated. I’ll drive over from Atlanta often for a day or two because the deals and quality of courses is insane.

Entertaining the idea of joining old Overton once the kids get older but I’ve never played it. I’ve just heard great things about it. How did you like it?
