About This Video: We often hear the phrase “it’s the golfer, not the equipment” when discussing why a poor shot was hit. While this is true, the opposite can be true as well, if the equipment does not set the golfer up for success, a well hit shot can be even more difficult to hit than it has to be. Optimizing your equipment in your bag can make golf easier and lower your scores immediately. In this video I go over the top 5 clubs a high handicapper needs to get rid of and replace.

  1. No… 1. I love my Taylormade Qi35 3wd. Its a cheat code. stopping on greens at ~260yds (no im not good enough for it to be every time I swing it but its a staple in my bag). 2. Just know when to use wedges with different bounce degrees. I love my Cleveland wedges with 6° bounce on dry stiff ground. Wet or soft? Use a cavity PW or AW(know your gear). 3. I love my 4i! Off the tee… Know when you're capable of using certain clubs. 4. I love my Cleveland Blade putter. Just have to know where on the ball to hit with it. But yes, mallets are more forgiving. And I agree with the 1 inch shorter driver. Honestly, just choke up on the grip if you're swinging out of your shoes (most guys). 🖖🫡
