  1. We had one for a few years, eventually the geese got used to it and it wasn’t effective any more.

The past few years we’ve been getting visits from actual foxes, that’s worked pretty well.

They actually don’t work after a couple of weeks. At least not in Maine.

We just get real ones here in the courses I play in SoCal. I’ve only ever caught them with squirrels though. Was having a conversation with another golfer about ever seeing them with a goose and I haven’t.

Yea, but then these get out of hand and you have to bring in the RoboWolves and it becomes a whole thing.

Ah yes, every bird fears the five legged coyote.

  6. A Course in Ontario, Canada imported a black swan. It patrols the ponds and for the most part keeps the geese away.

We have one and it seems to help keep the geese off the green.

  8. A couple of course around me have them.

Based on the active goose population and the amount of crap on the fairways and greens, these don’t work.

Idk but my course could serious use a dog. The geese do nothing for the ecology

Course here in the bay area has a cart with an eagle/falcon statue dangling off the roof in front that it drives around and two dogs. They mostly herd the geese off the course and then have to do it again every hour.
