ELMSFORD, N.Y. (February 19, 2026) — The MGA’s former “Rules Quiz” has been renamed as the MGA Officials Exam in 2026, with the new version available now. Though it carries a new name, it still delivers the same challenging Rules scenarios that will spark debate among Rules enthusiasts. Answers will be published on March 19.
The winter is a great time to brush up on or test your Rules knowledge, whether you’re a novice or aficionado. The Officials Exam, compiled by MGA Championships department staff with input from Rules and Competitions Committee members, creates discussion each winter with its challenging scenarios that call you to pay attention to all the details. Take this opportunity to brush up on your Rules of Golf knowledge and put it to the test by trying the Officials Exam. A Spanish translation will soon be available as well.
