Honestly pretty good clubs for a beginner. Had a buddy who started playing with these and had them for years until he was good enough to need a better set but for the price, its a great deal. Also comes with an amazing white hot putter with a jumbo grip so that’s a bonus.

I’ve worked 20 years in the golf industry and this is by far the best value for quality and a good set makeup for beginner players. Realistically could play it for years. Plus you don’t get cornered into a cheaply made poorly thought out carry bag or cart bag monstrosity that falls apart in one season.
For me to just order a set of similar quality and set makeup in a pro shop is at least $1000

Just wish they included a 5W instead of a 3W.

I guess my question didn’t get posted or maybe I don’t understand how to use reddit. New golfer here and I wanted to know if at the current price of the edge set you guys would still recommend it? I know a lot of people say that used clubs are the way to go but I’m not knowledgeable on what to look out for. Most reviews I see praising this as a good starter set are a few years ago when the price was lowers so do you guys still think this is a great set at it’s current price? Thanks.

I wouldn’t do it. If money is the issue second swing for used clubs.

599? I swear I got them at 400-450 a year ago. Get them from Costco instead, it should be cheaper than 599.

Anyone here recommend these or my 20 year old big Berthas? I’d rather just update my irons but that’s cost prohibitive

Such a good starting set.
I had mine fore a few years and upgraded after I had lessons and an establish swing

I’m about to pick the irons up today

If you’re from the Pittsburgh area, I have a used set i only used for 1 year for $400.

The 3 wood and driver are kind of doo-doo. Especially the 3 wood. In terms of starter sets though, it is S-tier.
The 5 hybrid is pretty okay though. Irons are the most stock clubs imaginable and are probably the best starter irons out there.
