Kim and Chan are on the way up for sure.
I believe this is the first time that Shin Yubin will be in two finals of a WTT Smash event, XD and WD. Baldwin Chan and Kim Nayeong played well as a new pairing and might have advanced to the final if they had not met the world number one pair.
Is Kim motivated to win this match? I am not very sure judging from the performance

Again, clear evidence for me of unfair play from Lim. Hits the ball, then grunts just when the ball is at the opponent. I think this is a gap in the rules, it should not be allowed.
