Stop “swinging” your irons and start hitting them. Discover Your Big A# Frustration & Simple Fix (Free):👉 https://quiz.theartofsimplegolf.com/ The irons that make golf simple again Avoda Golf:👉 https://avodagolf.com?sca_re=6739539.AnFo8rKNTi If you struggle with fat shots, thin strikes, or a lack of distance, the problem isn’t your age it’s “Instruction Fatigue.”

Most golfers are told to have a long, flowing, “pro-style” swing, but for the senior golfer, this usually results in a “sloppy” impact where the arms outrun the body.

In this video, Alex Fortey shows you the “Handle Brake” secret. By learning how to apply the brakes to the handle, you stop the clubhead from taking over and finally feel the pure, squeezed compression of a perfect iron shot.

What you’ll learn in this 10-minute masterclass:

The “Sloppy” Trap: Why a free-flowing swing is killing your consistency.

The Handle Brake: How to create energy production by stopping the grip, not the clubhead.

The Tommy Fleetwood Method: Why the best strikers in the world use a “curtailed” finish to control the ball.

The Simulator Proof: Watch the data as Alex moves from “sloppy” wristy shots to authoritative, compressed strikes.

Stop overcomplicating your swing. It’s time to ignore the “technical garbage” and get back to the art of simple golf.

  1. I've tried this and it works. Only problem for me is that I quickly go back to my full swing motion. I'm guessing this is because I lose some connection between my body turn and arms?

  2. Thank you for this video! I would have responded 2-days ago but I had to try this on the range first. I am totally blown away but how much better my ball striking is as a result of implementing putting on the "brakes" as it were. This concept is a fundamental that should be taught right up there with grip and setup, in my opinion. I don't think I've ever seen it addressed ??? I have thought about how I would explain this to someone else, but I will instead send them a link to your video. Again, thank you; I have subscribed.
