The guy who posted this has it wrong. The arrow does not point to the upfield shoulder, it points to the downfield shoulder. Had Watt gone for the correct shoulder, Tony would have spun right into a Mack truck.

— Actually in some of this interview Tony says "you can hear him, he's like a horse coming right at you". That's probably it. Tony heard him and could spatially locate him.
