HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL. – Spring golf is here as Bethune-Cookman opens the 2026 schedule in the Sunshine State with the El Campeon Collegiate, Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 23-24 at Mission Inn Golf Club
Hosted by Lehigh, the 54-hole, shotgun start event will see the first two rounds played on Monday beginning at 8 a.m., with the final 18 set to wrap things up Tuesday. The Cats will take on the par-72, 6,109 El-Campeon Course.

n their final event of the fall, The Wildcats dropped over 20 strokes from round one to round two as they finished 10th in a field that included programs such as Clemson, Charlotte, and host UNC Asheville at the French Broad Collegiate Invitational.
Clemson claimed the event with a 290+288=578 (+2) on the week. They were followed by Charlotte, UNC Asheville, and Eastern Kentucky to round out the top four.
Bethune-Cookman posted team scores of 350 and 331 for a 681 over two rounds.
For the fourth time in the fall season, Reese Wilson led the way for the Cats, carding rounds of 86 and 75 for a 161 (+17) on the week – good for a 32nd overall finish in the event.
Lathika Krishna and Skylar Kew finished tied for 44th, each shooting 172 over the two rounds.
Freshman Mia Bernier and Lana Bowen rounded out the field for the Wildcats. Bernier posted rounds of 93 and 83 over two days, while Bowen carded a 98 and 94.
The Wildcats are one of 11 programs in the 2026 tournament field, including Navy, Longwood, North Dakota State, Providence, Bucknell, USC Upstate, Bellarmine, UIC, North Dakota, and host LeHigh.
B-CU will field a tweaked lineup for its first event of the spring
