Today we’re comparing my favorite wood bat turn model (Ronald Acuña Jr’s “RA13”) in two different types of wood: Louisville Slugger RA13 MAPLE vs. B45 RA13 BIRCH.

What batting grip is that?
Will, do you have any advice on gripping bats with tapers? Those look beautiful and I always mess my tape jobs up😂
I need some Mizuno reviews! Especially the new hot metal and duality bbcors
You guys need to try Trinity's birch. Smokes B45 all day long, try the EC2 turn model. 😏
Will, if possible at some point on the website would you be able to put different type of wood bat bros ranking like turn modes as well as wood like beech and maple and birch rankings of sweet spot swing weight and pop thx.
That birch is just gonna get hotter and hotter the more swings you get on it too. I’ve had a JD20 turn model B45 that I’ve had for 2 seasons and it’s the best wood bat I’ve owned.
You should do a steel pressed vs non steel pressed for old hickory I want to know if it’s worth it
How much of this is the wood vs particular bat? If you grabbed 5 of each, bet you could get different results at least a few times.
Camman18's favorite video
What is the difference between the RA13 youth and pro models?
Love the second channel! any chance you can review the new MacDougall with walnut? I'm wondering if it compares better to a baum bat with the lighter swing weight.
For three years, I bought my son birch for his collegiate summer league because it's more durable. This summer, he broke his favorite 110-turn birch early in the season. I couldn't find a decent birch 110-turn for less than $180. So I bought him a couple of M*Powered maple 110's off of JustBats on clearance. Good choice. Those maples rock!
He likes stiff bats. 110-turns are already stiff. A maple 110-turn is super-stiff. He just bangs with those maple 110's.
@Will, what spray grip are you using and what's your favourite spray grip?
Thx for the vid. I'm 0/2 on ash Louisville bats, both broken in less than 15 hits, cracking at the handle. Saving up for something birch at this point. 😢
My teammate just got the Aaron Judge bat from Chandler 33.5 and it’s surprisingly light, wanna get it birch though idk how they make birch
My cheapo 32” LS weighs 934g and my 33” B45 weighs 845g. Might have something to do with bat speed/velocity?
Verse Euro Beech?
5:24 For me, I would take that Louisville Slugger bat for $40. I have not swung a bat in 31 years and I would just want to work on making contact in a batting cage.
Not consisten lots of variables…need a swinging machine and the same angle every single swinging same with the pith to determine the winner
I would love for you to do a comparison/review and maybe a "science behind" episode on direction of grain. Supposedly, traditional ash is against the grain, like hitting on the edge of a deck of cards, and birch/maple is with the grain, like contacting the ball with the deck of cards face. I'd love to see velo comparisons of edge vs. face on the same bat, etc, etc. There's a lot of confusion out there about direction of grain and even highschool/juco coaches dont know or agree. Thanks for all you do!
Of course I see this video after I buy a ra13 maple
Maple snaps a lot easier then birch and hickory
Are there any cheap birch bats your would recommend
What grip do you use?
Just bought a birch ra13 bc of this video, new bat for the season
I’ve been wondering what to get, custom birch or custom maple, thanks for the help man!
Can you try and do a review of AXE wood bats vs AXE wood composite bats
I have a birch c271 and it’s crazy, I hit farther with that bat then with my atlas or select pwr sometimes. It’s very hot
Would like to see composite wood bats like the brett bros maple ash and maple bamboo combos, would be interesting imho
Not just the wood but how it's finished. Burnished/Boned, etc. I assume those were both Pro Limited Stock billits
Chandler Birch are the best
Could you try warstic woodbats
Just got a Maple RA13 32/32 feels good on the swing and can definitely see the difference between the previous bats i used
Yo homie get a cal raleigh birch rawlings torpedo
Was the Birch Boned, or broken in, or straight out of the box?
I grew up with a maple wood deep brown bat miss it everyday
What is the name of the aerosol you put on the bat so that it doesn't slip?
What size are those bats?
What are your thoughts on the KR3 bats?
