MACON, Ga. – The South Dakota State women’s golf team is up one spot into seventh place following the first two rounds of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.
McKenzie Mages is holding her position at the top of the individual leaderboard, firing a 69 (-3) for round two. She is 8-under through 36 holes and posted an eagle on the fifth hole of Saturday’s round.
Hannah Boraas is tied for 42nd place with a +8 scorecard, followed by Riko Danjo in 65th place at +13. Molly O’Hara is two shots behind Danjo with a +15 two-day tally. Reese Jansa is tied for 70th place (+16).
Hannah Pettitt, competing individually, carded a 79 (+7) for the second day. She is in 74th place with one round remaining.
The Jackrabbit team is +21 through two rounds after posting a 299 (+11) for the second day. UNC Greensboro leads the field with a -2-team tally, followed by Virginia Tech, which is +3.
NOTES
SDSU has 116 pars so far, which is tied for first among all teams.
McKenzie Mages is tied for first on par-4 holes. She is averaging 3.75 strokes per par-4.
